In the ideal world, it would be preferable if we never had to remove a tree. Unfortunately though, some trees become diseased or start decaying & they become unsafe. Other times, they have been planted in a location that is no longer suitable. If this is the case, the only option available is removal. Aussie Tree Solutions can do this promptly and at an affordable price.
Aussie Tree Solutions are happy to provide a free quotation by a qualified arborist. We like to explain our work methods to you during our site visit. This way we can be certain that both you (our valued customer) and our Arborist are completely clear about the work that is to be performed.
There are different types of tree removal. Please see the list below:
Cut to approximately ground level
This involves completely removing the tree but leaving the stump. The tree will be cut as close as possible to the existing ground surface.
Cut to ground level and poison the stump
Once again, we completely remove the tree, leaving the stump as close to the ground as possible. Rather than having the stump ground out, it will be poisoned. This will happen immediately after the final cut is made. Although we can minimise regrowth occurring, only stump grinding will guarantee no regrowth.
Cut to a specified height
Complete removal of tree from above the specified height. This is normally only done as safety mitigation measures on previously “lopped” trees or for tree stumps that are being dug out by machinery.
This is the removal of potentially dangerous tree stumps after tree removal works.

Do you know the law?
It’s worth remembering you need to check with your local council to see if there is a Vegetation Protection Order (VPO) on your property. If there is you will need to seek permission before any vegetation work is done. Reasons for protected vegetation include:
- cultural or historical significance
- if the vegetation is near a waterway
- if it provides habitat for native animals
- is part of fauna or flora corridor
